Teeth Whitening

A dazzling smile is the first thing people see, so make an impression that impresses with a set of sparklers that really shine. Our practice offers both in-office Zoom whitening as well as Opalescence Go take-home trays. Both result in long-lasting whiteness and brightness you just can’t achieve with over-the-counter products.

You can discuss these options with Dr. Bowen to determine which is best for your teeth and expectations.

Zoom Whitening

This procedure takes less than one hour in the office—three, 15-minute sessions of light-intensified hydrogen peroxide gel applied to the surface of the teeth. You’ll get a touch-up kit to take home and directions to help keep those pearly whites looking great for as long as possible. Results are not permanent, but they do last a long time.

Opalescence Go® (Take-Home Trays)

This is a simple, cost-effective alternative to in-office whitening. Opalescence Go® can be purchased at Dr. Bowen’s office. The kit includes everything you’ll need to brighten your smile at home. The clear, flexible trays adjust to your mouth so there is no need to take impressions, wait for a lab, or use special equipment. You’ll fill the tray with gel that has potassium nitrate and fluoride in it, to work its magic. You can either wear them for 30–60 minutes for 5 to 10 days, or wear them for 15–20 minutes for 5 to 10 days.

Why should I consider whitening?

Brushing will get your teeth clean and can remove surface stains to a degree, but in certain cases, more advanced whitening is needed to boost the benefits to the next level.

Why whiten? Patients with fluorosis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development) have tooth discoloration that can be repaired with professional whitening. Certain medications like tetracycline can cause unsightly staining too. Plus, normal wear and tear and staining from food, drink, smoking, etc. can cause teeth to lose their luster. Turn dullness into a dream come true with our whitening procedures.

We’re known for outstanding results.
